There are many reports claims that McDonald’s food can stimulate obesity especially to young children. McDonald’s use excessive salt and sugar to make their meals lucrative and tasty. However it has been recorder that consumption of such meals may lead to increasing cases of diabetes and high blood pressures (Listovative, 2014). McDonald’s cannot differentiate itself from other fast food chain anymore. Today’s fast food like KFC, Burger King are selling similar fast food as McDonald’s. High employee turnover rate is also a problem in McDonald’s. Most of McDonald’s jobs are not requiring skills and knowledge base, and the paid is also low. This results in lower performance and high employee turnover rate which increase training costs. In fact, McDonald’s is trying to do in this way. In updating McDonald’s menu and advertisement, healthy items and signs appears. Mc Cafe and Mc delivery service has more space to be developed. Faster delivery and better service will be welcomed by more and more customers. McDonald’s could improve its public image to attract more customers, not only provides more healthier food, but also create jobs and join into more charity events to improve public image.
