Today, television, video games, music and other media sources are part of the everyday life of our youth. “American adolescent spends approximately eight hours a day using media, either as a primary activity or as background to other activities” (Arnett, 2001), and violent displays are becoming more common. Adolescents between the ages of 6-13 who are exposed to violence in the media are more aggressive than those who are not.
To test this theory, a group of 100 individual case studies will be evaluated. There will be a wide variety of samples from the general population including both male and female subjects in the age range of 6-13 years old. The backgrounds of the subjects would be varied,
