This itself could be seen as a small scale attack. When someone denies our way of living we think it is an attack on us personally. Our country was founded on Christian principles after all, we do not want people standing out against our religion. This conflict of interest makes it hard for us to thrive as a nation. I agree that with one more boundary in our legislature our decision making process only gets harder when determining the overall direction of this great nation. However, we have brought some of it on ourselves. In the EBSCOHost article “Dreaming America: Middle Eastern Diaspora and Cultural Conflicts” it says, “Cultural conflicts cause them to feel fragmented, split, or sometimes yearn for the days back in their homelands” (BEŞE par. 1). We have become so discriminatory to their people that they have withdrawn from connecting to other Americans. Hate crimes against muslims have caused them to miss their homes so they make their own communities here to build each other up and become stronger. Maybe we could try to include them into our own so that they might not dismiss it and replace it with their own. We should keep our land of hope and freedom reputation. In the Quran there are verses that promote killing of non-believers for the rein of Islam. ISIS makes it clear that they hate us and believe that America should be destroyed as a whole. People half a world away hate you and they don’t even know you. How are we going to sit back and let them plan our destruction? It is the radical Muslims like this that create situations where we need our immigration ban. It may offer some peace to the United States. It may look bad to officials around the world but our safety is on the line. America is a target of many extremist around the globe, it is only because of our greatness. What is your response to those who have no respect for rules? Isn’t it possible for extremists to get into America from other borders? The ban is keeping out the good muslims while others more than likely slide in under the radar. We have developed Islamophobia and it is just what ISIS wants. They want to know they are in our heads causing distress in everyday lives. We have become anti-muslim in defense to our fears. Harvard University in the Pluralism Project tells this, ”On December 30, 2004, also in California, a Muslim woman wearing a hijab was pushing her baby in a stroller when a man in a truck almost ran them over near a gas station. When the woman cried, “You almost killed my baby!,” the man responded, “It wouldn’t have been a big loss” (pluralism.org par. 4). This is crazy what fear has
