This dark age of thinking can even be considered borderline insane to some. We are in an age of reason, where every problem and every solution has real tangible evidence /proof behind it. One example I can recall in our lecture was the video of the drunk driver smashing through someone’s home, leaving one dead and the driver fleeing the scene. The age of reason would have saw these circumstances and held the driver responsible for being under the influence. We would in logical/critical thinking said the driver was inebriated and that’s why the car slammed into the house; we blame the driver…Now, on the opposite side of the spectrum, the people in the house was holding a bible study and thank god no one in the house was hurt. They also implied that god was the reason nobody had been hit by he driver. We see only in this one example how the age of reason would probably be the best judgement call on who we hold responsible for these horrendous acts/crimes. Now on the other side of the world, you have habitats/social norms where the Dark Age thinking is alive and well and prominently used. One example was out in Tanzanian, where albinos are sacrificed because they believed these genetic beings held sacred powers and were thought to bring fortune or success. It’s gotten so
