I believe that a healthy balanced diet will prevent many illnesses. Due to accessibility and money, many citizens choose unhealthy food options, which leads to obesity, and as a result, leads to diabetes. Simply replacing chips with fruit, white bread with wheat bread, turkey or chicken for beef, can be the foundation for living a healthy diabetes free life. In addition to, working out at least three times a week, accommodates a healthy diet. Working out will assist me with burning off what I eat and preventing excessive fat build up. Ultimately, this assignment has contributed to my information about diabetes. Being educated on diabetes, will ensure that I take the necessary precautions and steps to lower my risks. If I live a healthy active life, I will prevent diabetes. A healthy life encompasses determination and discipline, good choices, and knowledge. The authors whose research I utilized enlightened me and provided effective ways to avoid diabetes. Diabetes is a growing health illness that affects many of the world’s citizens, especially African Americans. Therefore, I am determined to avoid and break the cycle in my family pedigree. All in all, I will maintain my physical activity, diet, and desire to gain knowledge. Also, I will implement new ideas to further decrease my probability of getting diabetes.
