I knew I could just enjoy the rest of the speeches, and look forward to my next speech I had to give. The execution of my speech was decent, and I did a good job of connecting it to the visual aid. I didn’t have too many moments where I wasn’t talking, and I didn’t think I had too many stumbles throughout. I had planned on just sort of standing on it and maybe dribbling it in place a little bit, but I saw it sitting there on the ground by all the rest of the SHIELD’s. Next time, I am hoping to be able to practice my speech more, and overall just be more prepared for my speech. That way, I don’t need to worry about it and stress over it all day, which I believe would lead to a better and more-thought out speech. I also think I would make a more creative intro, which would really help me get everyone’s attention and overall gain more interest in my speech. I also think I could’ve made my shield look more like a soccer ball, because I’m guessing there was confusion about what exactly it was. I probably would also tie in a better conclusion to go along with my intro better. In real life, a speech about myself might be useful and I might need to be able to give when I’m in an interview. Company’s often look for people who are able to speak in public, and it would be beneficial to be able to do that. That way, I could get the job and I could make lots of
