Now, Primo was about 10, so he got REALLY …show more content…
“It should be downhill from the looks of it, so watch out for small rocks so you don’t twist your ankle.” “Ok” said Primo, Prima and Rayne. “We should make a landmark here so we know which entrance to take.” said Prima. We all agreed, so we tried to find distinct differences between the landscape. “Bingo!” I said, “That dead tree sagging on that other dead tree other there.”
“Its wood is darker than the rest in this area so that will be our first landmark.” Everyone else agreed, so we continued on our adventure. This landscape is beautiful, I thought. A section of the valley was covered with smooth stone carved by the fierce water that once lived in the valley. We continued down the valley while cautiously taking note of the different landmarks. It was easy at first because all of our landmarks were along a dried up creek, but then the creek ended abruptly. We need to pay attention now, I thought. “Hey, look at that cool rock over there!” yelled Primo. We all looked over in the direction where he pointed, and it was a rocky ledge about 13 feet from the ground. “Yah, who wanna climb that with me?” I asked. “Not me, that’s too high!” said Primo and Rayne. “Prima, do you want to climb …show more content…
“This has to be at least hundreds of years old” I said. We all explored it and took pictures/videos. Then all of a sudden an older dude came out of nowhere. He really frighten us. I was really creeped out by the whole thing in general, it reminded me of some creepy ghost story. “Hey, you kids can’t be here!” He scolded. He must have been wondering where we came from because we were miles away from anything. After the confrontation we ran so fast away from there we barely noticed the fence right in front of us. Of course, ladies first, so Prima went first and took her time as expected. ‘She didn’t want to get cut’ was her excuse, but after she got under safely we all just rolled under real quick and ran. “Owww!” Primo cried babyishly as he got cut by the wire. “Stop crying and keep on going!” I rushed. I didn’t want any of that bad ‘JuJu’ I was so paranoid of. We ran ‘till we were far enough away from the stone structure and took a break. Of course Primo got scared and cried for home. So we made groups of two; Me and Prima, and Rayne and Primo. This idea was created in case anybody needed to rest they could while their partner would go a little ahead, but in views distance. This prevented anybody getting separated without losing time. Then, a problem occurred to me. We couldn’t find the landmarks that we cautiously noted. We were going up the valley, but not up straight. Our path was a slanted to the right which lead us astray from our
