This activity helped me learn new things about different types of studies, such as Archeology and Meteorology. I found out that butterflies can emerge from cocoons in space and zero gravity, so cool! Scientist named this experiment “butterflies in space”, which is a very simple name for such an astounding moment. I also learned that the k-T Boundary is a distinct layer found in rock formations and that the “recharge area” is the area that allows rainwater to slowly percolate back into natural storage areas.
