Just for a few minutes, I heard two soldiers walking right to our location. They probably didn’t hear us. They’re most likely searching around the area looking for Jews trying to escape. Finn noticed and heard the soldiers coming down this way too. “Hurry! That dumpster! We can hide in there.” said Finn, trying to whisper. We both went inside the dumpster and hid until they leave. Inside the dumpster was trash bags, nothing surprising. We were lucky we hid in the dumpster before they caught us.
