The man’s nervous voice stopped her “It’s raining terribly, and these forests are dangerous.”
“It’s dangerous for you too.” Kayte pointed out.
“That’s not the point… you’re only a girl. I can handle myself.” the man said confidently. The rain continued pouring over the two of them. Kayte shrugged her shoulders, debating his point in her mind, “Well then maybe you could give me a ride?” The man shook his head, “Nah… I’m going to Bruma.”

The man frowned in a guilty manner, “Well I..” A sharp crack peeled through the air as a bolt of lighting burst from the sky, striking a tree near the both of them.
