To replace the out-of-date help desk system, Altiris, Yakult decided to search the power of cloud computing. The previous system problem is the employees having a difficulty to adjust the environment. Therefore, the IT staffs need to be effective in handling issues and requests because of the solution lacked functionality. Because of the resources and economical boundaries made it impracticable to implement a new on premise resolution, the staff began searching for an answer. Then, Yakult has implemented BMC Software which is BMC Remedy force Service Desk in their management system. “Since we implemented BMC Remedy force, the number of phone calls to the help desk has dropped by about one third, and the number of e-mail messages has dropped in half. In time, we expect the number of user-submitted issues and requests to increase, which will free up the help desk to work on more complex issues”, said Can Ersoz; Manager Of Information System at Yakult.
