By definition, the term "Columbian Exchange" refers to as the transfer of people, animals, plants, and diseases from the old world to the new world. The exchange of crops was one example. The indians shared potatoes, chocolate, squash and way to farm and agriculture. The introduction of European livestock had a darmatic impact on the eviroments and the culture of the New World. Since they were faced with few natural predators, pigs and horses multiplied rapidly on the open space of the americas. The European also brought disease from the old world. This had an huge impact on the american civilzations. Disease such as small poxs were epidemic to the societies in America. So the exchange had both its pro and cons when dealing with
