This means that in every interaction there is a pair of forces that act upon the two interacting objects. For example if a egg is thrown at a concrete wall the egg will shatter. This happens because the egg has a thinner and softer shell then the concrete wall. Therefore as the egg hits the wall the impact of the wall breaks the egg.
