God saw that people had become sinful and wicked and a change needed to happen. God loves humanity so much that he decided to spare Noah and his family so that humanity could he made whole. God made a covenant with Noah never to flood the earth again. The covenant with Noah is guarantees from God to His commitment to His creation. The Noahic covenant relates to the other covenants by the divine promises God made with each covenant. Noah covenant was a sign given by God covenantal commitment. The Noahic Covenant is an unconditional promise from God. The Noahic covenant, including the various divine promises which accompany it, guarantees God's commitment to creation, and in particular, the preservation of life on the earth (Chalmers, A. 2009, pg. 209).
The next biblical covenant is the Abrahamic covenant. Abraham the father of many nations. God most faithful and obedient servant. God called Abraham out of Ur to go to Canaan, promising to make him a father of many nations. The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you (Genesis 12:1 Zondervan NIV).” The utter graciousness of this covenant is seen clearly in the ratification ceremony in Genesis 15. God promised the aging Abraham that he would have a son and heir from his body (Genesis 15:4) and that he will inherit the land of
