Throughout history, artworks have been deemed inappropriate, unlawful, and unable to be seen by an audience; from artworks such as Michelangelo’s, “The Last Judgement” in 1565, to Adam Sandler’s, “Pixels” in 2015, people have ruined works like these because of differences in society. Censorship is used to describe the silencing of work that has been made. Including the removal of work that is on display or in performance or the scrutinizing of finished work before it is displayed or performed. Many works of art throughout history have been wrongfully ruined and destroyed due to masking and concealing the original art because of differences in beliefs. In many societies, expressing a public view that goes against the popular political view is not well accepted by the public. Therefore, the art piece will be censored due to its politically challenging opinions as it might destabilize the country's political stability.

According to the First Amendment as a human being on this Earth I legally and naturally have the rights to the freedom of expression; which guarantees my right to free expression and free association, which means that the government does not have the right to forbids me from saying what we like and writing what we like. We can form clubs, organizations, and take part in demonstrations and rallies.

Although understanding of having unwanted eyes, such as younger children, look at explicit artworks, I believe that the art, whether it is music, painting, drawing, theatre, photography, etc, should be kept in the same originality the artist intended it to be. A solution to some of the issues, like keeping certain pieces out of sight from children, could be putting these artworks in places where it won’t be seen by the eyes of youth.
