Introduction
When you walk thru the store and grab meat you don't connect it to a dead carcass it's food nothing more. We grow up learning that even in children's books we separate cute farm animals from are food. Society makes industry animals life's no longer a life but simple a product. “we eat pork not pigs, veal not baby calfs, animals are not killed in a slaughterhouse but processed in a packaging plant” -Dana Jones.
Effect on the animals.
People don't see what happens to the animals in the factories. Around 27,397,260 living, thinking, animals are killed for meat. The unfair treatment that occurs before there murder is not in anyway “humain”. The animals watch each other getting slaughtered and know that that will bethere fate soon. Environmental scientist have confirmed that livestock admission is worst than cars and trucks. Cow themselves put Nitrogen, carbon, noble gases, and methane. Not only we have triple the amount of live stock then people. They take up so much space on our earth leading to massive reforestation. We also use land to grow crops, food, to feed to the animals instead of ourselves to then eat those animals. That's way more money and resources needed to just simply feed people. Going vegetarian or vegan could end world hunger. Take a look! 10- acres of soybeans can feed 60 people, 24 people growing corn, and then 10-areas for production cows can only support two of them. We can feed way more people if we grow it for humains instead of animals that we don't need to prevent hunger. Not only we can help prevent a further water shortage saving a ton of water.
