It seems that many of Paleo-Indian that date back to at least 10,000 years have been discovered by Peru, Ecuador and Chile’s coasts. Hence the site of these same Indians can be found in the Amazonia in Brazil amongst the Tapajo’s rivers and by Manaus. These sites have revealed and large quantities of plants and carcasses of dead animals. This goes to show that the Indians were not big game hunters (animal hunters) instead they opted for plants. The Paleo Indians were constant visitors to these caves and while they visited they would paint, eat, make tools etc for over 1200 years. It was never proved that these Indian lived in closed areas in South America. These societies while small were very mobile and they lived off gathering plants and hunting so being enclosed was definitely not an option.
