Then, giving them the right to use whatever technology tools they have to monitor our daily lives and secure us from terrorism. Through this, people are giving up more than just a little bit of our privacy. The government can use traffic cameras, satellites, or even our own smartphones or laptop webcams to monitor us. The government is probably collecting information about each individual and keeping a record of each person. This seems rather unethical of the government. The abilities the government has to invade an individual’s privacy is unethical. Citizens may think the patriot act is here to help us, but it actually takes away more privacy than one thinks. From the patriot act, the government has too much power, allowing them to monitor the life of every individual without their
