It was 4:30 p.m. and we were listening to the game on the radio and the Cubs were winning I do not remember the score exactly. It was 11:30 p.m. and were just about in Chicago and we saw some nice fireworks on July 2nd. The highlight for the Cubs that day was Aramis Ramirez the third baseman for the Cubs who hit a homerun* that game. Other than that the Cubs lost that game and I didn’t care because all I could think of was going to run the bases. So after the game I went now to field level I looked around imagining someday if I could play on this field. I remember feeling the padded wall down the right field wall and looking at the visiting bullpen mounds. I felt I was in heaven like running the bases at Wrigley Field was a dream come true best experience of my life I will never forget that day. The Chicago Cubs crew said, “we cannot run on the grass rounded third base because if you have the wrong shoe you could kill their grass.” I ran the bases as fast as I could and I felt that was the fastest I ever ran the bases. After I was done running the bases I looked from home plate out to centerfield and looked at Wrigley Field to look at the perspective of a hitter and what they seen while they are up there it was the best MLB stadium that I will ever go
