My first task was something straightforward, something that I could not possibly mess up, put five modified hitch pins on one pin, six in all. After doing that for while, I packed bags for the MaxAx. I put a MaxAx brochure and two sets of six pins in the bags. Later, they will be filled with all the different parts that make up the MaxAx. I did not actually enjoy it, or the difficulties of it, but I still would have chose it again. It taught me lessons that I needed to know before I graduated high school. I had the impression that I might want to work at a place similar to that, and I was mistaken. I was not planning on going to college before I started my internship, and it definitely changed my mind. I want to be in an air controlled environment. I want to attend to college now that I have experienced the real world of working. Hindsight is 20/20 and if I could go back, I would have brought it to attention that I wanted to get more experience with other departments throughout the company rather than letting them assign me the same boring task. All in all, my internship is a memory that I will never forget and most certainly a great ending to my senior year in high school.
