Many health problems can be linked back to the lack of physical activity. It is important for children to become more involved in physical activity to reduce the risk of becoming unhealthy and obtain further detrimental side effects to their well-being. In this report I will discuss the most common health problems and show evidence to support they do in fact stem from lack of physical activity. I will also show how to encourage children to be more active and the various ways to make sports education more interesting.

(Canada, Statistics)There are many benefits of physical activity for people of all ages. These benefits can be accessed from a young age and be used throughout life. These benefits are categorized into certain sections such as physical, cognitive, social, and emotional benefits.
Physical benefits include benefits that other people can see on a person’s body. Muscle definition, a person’s weight and exercising techniques would all be examples of a person’s physical well-being. These can be achieved through exercising and getting healthy. Exercising will help a person gain full potential of one’s motor control for example, if a person struggles with proper gait then that person does not have full motor control of their body. Muscular strengthening is also achieved through exercise and decreases the chances of developing diseases that stem from inactivity. The importance of muscular strength is extremely high. We use it each day from lifting out groceries from the car to the house to lifting up our children to play with them, we depend on our muscular strength to accomplish each task daily. By exercising, range of motion is increased. This lowers the risk of back injury especially as people get
