This memorial was made for the Wright brothers. The birth place of flight will hopefully forever be known to have taken place in Kitty Hawk, NC. Today it is a museum that shows forth the achievements of many inventors, or the accomplishments of flying. Inside the museum there is an identical presentation of the “Flyer”. Reason being so that people will not tear apart the original. The museum also shows the tools they used, who helped them achieve their success, the development of how planes changed the world (History.com Staff). On the fields of where the planes landed are the marking of the distance they flew. Tourists can walk along the length of them, or climb to the top of the hill where the memorial stands tall and proud. On the edges of the memorial are the faces of Wilber and Orville Wright.
