First and foremost, the Plumb-Bob seems to have strongly achieved the theme of its artist and even surpassed it. This is because the amount of analysis, creativity and skill that was employed in crafting such a magnificent and graceful work of art is evident in the sculpture. The work is similar to the themes of its artist in the manner it gracefully stands in the middle of Goshen lounge, constantly challenging the possibilities of all its viewers. It is massive in size, yet at the same time its mobility is guaranteed by the movement of air. It lightness and size are challenging and interesting at the same time to the viewers. The prowess of the artist is evidently brought out in this sculpture. The message of the artist, to try and flaunt his prowess is effectively communicated through the artwork. The mood of the artwork, in terms of its grace and structure is also well brought out. Personally, I would not have anything about the artwork done differently. In Tara Morton’s The (Im ) Mobil Home, the theme of both a mobile and an immobile home is ineffectively brought out, as establishing the themes is a challenging right from the beginning. It employs a n illusion of an armchair from the past and adjusts the scale to live an impression in the mind of the viewers. It is similar to the message of the art in that it gives a sense of home and connects the message of the theme to the work. The style and the subject matter also agree since the size, scale, and the subject matter collude to give a sense of warmth and homeliness. The form also helps to convey this warm and homely feel and message. The artist was very successful in getting the message across as the chair looks familiar for every viewer. I would only have adjusted the color scheme to make the work more modern for an even easier
