This software establishes the safety standard for E/E vehicles. The Federal Government requires cryptographic (BSI TR-03116) projects to further prevent any future hacking. To have the data in your Automated vehicle protected the driver must be provided with the comprehensive information detailing what is being collected and observed in their vehicle at all times. The driver must give consent for the data to be retrieve through the computer of their car. Essentially to avoid a hacking your car must be “hacked” by the manufacturer to make sure your system is protected. Figuring out the technological weakness will benefit your car by having the best cyber security protecting your vehicle. Moving forward in the technological world and becoming more reliant on the software, will there be privacy at all? Not only is hacking a potential issue for a potential system failure, but also the concept of “Big Brother” will know your every move and your location through the GPS system connected to your vehicle.

Approximately $180 billion in medical expenses could the potential to be saved by the implementation of Automated vehicles (NHTSA 2015). The medical employees such as surgeons, doctors, nurses, and EMTs will see a decline in job opportunities or have the possible threat to be laid off in the future. People will get laid off because of at least an expected 25% of car crash reduction which will reduce $5.75 billion in the medical industry, $11.5 billion if reduction reached 50%, or $20.7 billion reduction at 90%. Emergency room overcrowding will reduce in population because of the decline in vehicle related accidents. Organ donations will be more available to terminally illed patients (Merz 1998). A chain reaction on how much potential money companies could lose. The medical industry, insurance, legal aid, law enforcement, and the reconstruction and infrastructure roadway industry are all at risk to be potentially laid off or the lack of future
