As I started to interview a former inmate from the Florida Department of Corrections about why he had to go prison, and how was his experience of the four in a half years that he was locked up. He said that he will be willing to discuss the living arrangements, the food, other inmates, correctional officers and the bathing experience, just his overall experience of the justice system. In this interview, I learned a lot about how prisoners feel in the justice system. I’ve learned that everything isn’t always what it seems. I learned first-hand other people’s perspective of the inside of the justice system. He talked to me about the differences between the real world and how living in prison was two totally different things. The Experience:

So, they can change their lives for the better. Something, such as making a difference in the community and educating young kids to not go down the same road that they went down could have a monumental effect taking more classes to help them better their lives when get released for the jail. It’s the small things like that could better our communities in the future. You have to do better for you self. This is a punishment, no one ever has to endure. It is peoples own actions led them to this situation that they are in and ultimately have to deal with. It changes some people’s lives but not
