Every situation has its sides and both need to be heard. The pros of deforestation is it creates space for growth of cities and developments. We as a society are rapidly growing and so we need more room to accompany that and places for businesses to flourish. …show more content…
Finding new species is very unique but with ecosystems being very fragile we have to be conscious of what we already have. Forcing mammals, birds, insects, amphibians, and many other creatures into areas they’re not suited for kills them. It’s also very well known that trees and plants absorb excess water in the ground by taking it in through their roots and re-releasing it back into the atmosphere. So when we take away forests you cause a higher risk of causing floods which endangers people and wildlife. Cutting down trees also slows the process of creating future medicines. Non-tribal people have only explored a fraction of forests and the best medicines of today are made from a base provided by these rich lands. This also limits our chances of learning about the biome and how to improve future life for our species. If we continue at the rate of cutting down forests we currently are at it’s projected that within the next 100 years they’ll all be cut down. And if that’s to continue there goes 55 billion years of growth and native species of plants and animals all lost within a blink of an eye. Global deforestation also brings the death of many cultures and tribes including the whole world, not just the people living in those countries. Finally cutting down all rainforests will cause giant and unwelcomed domino effects which we are starting to see the beginning of. A few of these are biodiversity annihilation and indigenous people’s
