Older people tend to be more mature and pay more attention when they drive. Meanwhile teens don’t really pay attention to the road. Almost 60% of teens call or text other people while they drive. Teens can get distracted by the noises when they call or text while driving. This is very dangerous because very serious accidents can happen when the teens are not paying attention. Teens overestimate their ability to drive. When teens drives, they can be cocky or arrogant sometimes. This is very dangerous because some teens like doing the sports tricks and they might try to do it while driving. Also teens can be irresponsible and careless when they drive. Teens are less likely to wear seatbelts when they drive. Almost 40% of the teen driving accidents involve with drinking alcohol.

Over 85% of the car accidents occur in the teens age group. This is bad because other people can get into accidents also. So by raising the driving age, teens won’t get into car accidents. Raising the driving age will save the earth because there are less people driving so there will be less car pollution. This is very important because car pollution can harm the environment. Cutting car pollution can save people’s lives also because pollution can cause diseases. Also raising the driving age can save the earth’s resources. By raising the driving age, less people will buy cars. If less people buy cars, it will save earth’s resources, therefore saving the
