Verbs, nouns, proper nouns, and adjectives took its toll on me until I finally grasp the concept behind each one. Grammar took lots of patience and practice and was reviewed every year as well as parts of speech. During those few years, I learned most of the structure and basics for writing.
Sixth grade was my introduction to public speaking. Each week like
Clockwork, we were given a short story to write an essay on. Rough papers owed by Wednesday and final papers owed on Friday on the short story assigned that week. Friday was also the day myself and a partner would stand on chairs in front of my class reading and acting out the short story paragraphs assigned. That year I was more comfortable with public speaking. My high school experiences are most of my fondest memories when it comes to reading, writing, and communicating. During my freshman year of high school, my English teacher 's personality was vast and made English class very interesting and unpredictable. She would sing songs and dance around the room from time to time just to get her point across or to explain things in a manner that we would not forget. She was one of the first teachers
