GLO-BUS exercise is an online exercise established by IBM to imitate the real-world character of a digital camera industry. The competitive environment is offered to all the participants in the class. We started by choosing the group members from the class mates. We have 12 groups in an industry with 4 participants in each group. Each group run a camera company with the same start situation, they need to make their own decision to overpowered the other groups and meet the investors expectation. After applying different strategies our company progress slowly each week. Because glo-bus exercise is a real-time game, I learned how to play it to achieve a successful result. Glo-bus helped me to learn real time business experience and showed me how with just minor modification you can change the whole impact of a company. Strategy is another important lesson I learned from this exercise. Although, I am a very organized person, glo-bus helped me developed multitask handling skill together with being very organized. In order to get the right results in this exercise, the group collaboration and team work was a very important key. A huge achievement in this competition was that I learned the marketing strategies which were very vague for me before and this was the first time I have done real time business game experience as an academic task. One big disadvantage we had in our group was that three of the co-managers were accounting majors and did not have any experience with this kind of business plan. Because our lack of knowledge, the results we got were not very good putting us in the 10th place after the first round (year 6). As a result, we started discussing our changes as a group and tried to come up with a strategy that will help us make better decisions. We reach to the conclusion that our lack of knowledge put us behind the other companies which had a bad impact on our company. For example, the ROE for year 6 we had only $0.65 compared to the best group in the class which had $4.11, and ROE 10.7% compared to 52.8% of the top company in the game. We realized that in order to succeed in this game, we have to learn that when we make our company we have to understand everything about market and business planning. The first year is the most crucial in the business to prosper and be ahead of the game. After our discussion as a group, we made the changes for the next round which was year 7, and we got an increase in our ERS and ROE in such way that we jumped from the 10th place to the
