From my experience in ENG 202 I feel that this class shifted in a different direction. While we still analyzed texts the way we did it changed. Instead of focusing on theme, tone, and figurative language like I did in high school we focused on the different critical lenses and its application in works. Furthermore, this class differed in what texts it analyzed. Incorporated into ENG 202 wasn’t just traditional text but multimedia, which you don’t necessarily witness in high school.
