After graduating from my high school in my country Saudi Arabia, I wanted to learn new things that could help to build my goals. I had many things that I was thinking to learn, such as improving my computer skills, learning English as second language and taking Music classes. However, when I applied for scholarship to United States, and my government accepted me, learning English became the first important thing that I wanted to learn.
Frist, I started in the summer to take English classes in my city because I was going to leave my country to United State in August, so I needed to learn the basic vocabularies of English to help me in the beginning of my trip. Fall semester was going to be first semester for me in English Language Center at Michigan State. It was big change to study English among people from different countries and in country that English is first language. When I was learning English in my country, I thought study second language is easy because I did not speak or write in English, so I did not know what is my ability or taken scientific in English that I had. Also, America people speak very fast, so I could understand what they mean when they spoke with me. Subsequently, I recognized what I learned in my country five percent of learning English. First semester was the hardest time in my life because I
