Blue waves that ripped and tore each other apart. Blue skies that had not completely lost all of the sunrise color. Blue in every direction I looked. In that moment time had stopped. I was barely aware of my family and other beach-goers. I was shocked into the deepness of the water and the colors.After the trip to the beach that morning, (which by the way was just down the street) we took a hard earned rest. I laid on the couch but sleep did not come, or perhaps, I did not let it come. After what felt like an eternity, we finally got ready to go on our first swimming trip to the beach! I was so excited that I was telling my mom to drive faster! When we got there, I was immediately in love with the beach. Time seemed to stop, and all I could take in was the cold of the water around my ankles, and the exciting fact that I was actually there. It was so beautiful, and I don’t think I've ever seen something so BIG! The way the waves jumped and leaped over each other was amazing. We all ran to the shore and I slowly dipped my toe into the water, smiled at my mom, and leaped into the the blue waves.
