Lippi greatly influenced Botticelli in his workings. Botticelli learned a lot from his master Lippy. Lippy taught Botticelli about panel painting and fresco. He also learned about control of linear perspective. Botticelli created his own strong color scheme.

The Medici family was a royal family in Florence. Many of the Medici family members got self portraits painted by Sandro Botticelli. In my eyes, Sandro Botticelli’s art is a lot about love. The love always flowed through his painting’s. Though some of his painting were unexplainable, you could still feel what he trying to portray. That’s what I really like about Botticelli’s art, the fact that you can tell what you he was trying to say visually. “He was able to integrate figure and setting into harmonious compositions and to draw the human form with a compelling vitality.”(Lightbown,”Sandro Botticelli”)
My piece of art would have to be the Primavera, because the art piece has a nice flow through it. The flowers and plants show how elaborate the painting is. The characters were beautifully portrayed. Though many of his painting were beautiful, some were just really dark and dim. That was often scary, and that’s not my type of
