Before writing, I thought about my audience. Considering my audience will be my professors, I need to add plenty of details while keeping my writing style formal. Then, I had to consider the genre. Since it is a literacy narrative, my writing has to be about a significant event in my life that involved reading, writing, or language. With that in mind, it prompted me to mention my English learning experience in preschool and how my teacher has encouraged me. This circumstance has always been important to me because it taught me that being hardworking will ultimately lead me to my goals.
