Once we passed the 9th grade everything and everybody changed. The quiet, innocent girls ended up becoming the first ones pregnant, the “goody good” kids were no longer that, your best friend became your worst nightmare, and everyone that you thought in a million years would never party were getting high and drunk every weekend. There were tons of peer pressure throughout high school, but I decided to stick to my standards. I didn’t want to ruin my life or reputation by going out and partying just so that I can fit in with my so called “friends”. Even though everyone was doing it, I still decided to take the path less traveled
