Each possible alternative has pros and cons to weigh out before making the best possible decision. One recommendation is to use Walmart’s strengths to build up their weaknesses. Having Walmart with such a dominant reputation globally allows for cultural affiliation gains. To maintain a successful business one has to build and maintain relationships whether it be with employees, employers, vendors, customers and so forth. It is clear to see that Walmart is capable to have these relationship tactics locally as well as globally. With such negative publicity circling around Walmart it would be encouraged to build up relationships starting from employees, leading to customers. Walmart cannot forget that the 10s of thousands of employees per location have the potential to be actual customers. If Walmart used personalized marketing to show future and current customers on how reputable Walmart builds relationships inside of different locations, there can be a 5% additional increase of revenue with employee’s purchases alone.
