By initiating contact, you can experiment by correlation of hobbies and interested topics with others. If the friendship seems reciprocal, then intensify the communication to see what others are interested in. By integrating positive similarities, it will help build the bond between each other. It wasn 't very hard to make more friends through, school or work interactions. When I would share pieces of my life, friends and family would comment positively. It forged bonds with all the recipients included, but also left vulnerability to judgment on my life style. Its easy to update my situation via mediated communication online. Contrarily, it can be very informational to individuals, who dislike you, to use against you for unfavored choices. I don 't update every little status with every waking minute, but I feel it can benefit and/ or hurt depending on what is posted. I would suggest to be thoughtful of what you post, if you don 't want someone to see and embarrass
