These include their background,health,environment in which they grow up. Each of these affects all areas of development. Some personal factors are children’s health. If children suffer from poor health or a physical disability or impairment it could restrict their development opportunities. An example is if a child has a medical condition or impairment they would be less able to participate in some activities than other children. This could affect their physical development and also restrict social activities such as playing with their friends in the playground.
