On a typical day, a player will wake up before classes, get a lift or conditioning session in, go to class until 3 or 4 p.m., go to practice, go to mandatory study hall, and then finish homework or study for a test. And the NCAA member colleges continue to vote to forbid the sharing of money with student athletes. So they hide behind a "veil of amateurism", so they call it, that keeps the wealth of college sports in the hands of a few administrators, athletic directors, and coaches. The "veil" makes sure athletic directors and coaches keep all the wealth and also ensures poverty for many of the athletes who provide their labor.
