One of the main risk factors is breathing in silica dust. With Silicosis you are more likely to die of lung cancer, tuberculosis, and chronic bronchitis. If you were or are a smoker, you are much more likely to get this if you are a miner or constructionist who gets a large amount of dust in your face.
Silicosis isn’t treatable. The disease is kills about 200 people a year on average. Plenty people die because of silicosis, so the second paragraph may be helpful. I hope you learned something about silicosis. You read about silicosis cause, how to prevent it, and the risk factors.
