Thoth is the god of knowledge and writing. Thoth was self-made. He was responsible for the Egyptians’ knowledge. Many Egyptians believed that Thoth gave them the knowledge of writing, math and medicine. He was known for creating five additional days in the calendar for Nut. Thoth would relate to a school or library in our modern life. Later, in Ancient Egypt, the most important god was Ra. Ra was the sun god.
