Through advertisements, television, movies and newspapers, the media has a huge influence on people’s mind and shows positive images of middle- and upper-class and never mention the difference between social classes, poor, and poverty. As we see in the Harvard survey video with the charts, Majority of the american have absolutely no wealth and most of wealth belongs to few percentage of people in the country. These inequalities are result of a class system based on increasing gaps in income, wealth, and power between the few people on top and the masses of people at the bottom. Capitalism is a system that produces cruel consequences and causes competition, stress, and anxiety among members of the working class and middle class. Changing this position with hard working is a dream and for the most part people have little power to improve their class position. Research shows people are as likely to move downward as they are upward in the class system. Capitalism, is a system which in particular, benefits the rich an government creates arrangement of direct subsidies, tax breaks, and other support for big businesses.
