Health care does not have to be of low quality, greed, errors, or mishaps. The healthcare industry can become what was once considered to be the best industry again, offering a new outlook on outcomes, offering high quality care that is effective for all involved in that care and mishaps or errors will become obsolete, because everyone’s goal will finally be the same, striving for excellence.

Articles and studies have shown to the public that errors are common in medical treatment arenas and patients need to become more assertive and involved with the direction of their care (Leape, 1998). Organizations such as the Institute of Medicine (IOM), (ARHQ), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), etc… have all come together to help patients deal with their medical conditions in the best form possible, with advance technology, sources for professionals to access and utilized for more focused patient centered care. Mr. Evans mentions that professionals are just as responsible as much as the patients’ towards their health outcome, because the professionals are the directors of a patients’ care, so if the patient is failing, the real person failing is the professional not being efficient in managing that care, the problem is the patient is the one subdued to the stresses of inadequate care
