Without experimentation, scientists can only predict the environment of deep space. Long term space travel in colonization efforts will provide more research and first hand experimentation in finally solving the theory of everything, the link between the quantum world and macroscopic physics. We have not actually seen deep space and scientists could now run tests and experiment on other galaxies, black holes, and stars that are farther away unreachable from Earth. We may finally be able to trace back the universe’s origins and maybe even discover other forms of life. With colonization, we will also be able to learn more about prolonged exposure in zero-g environments as well as the role gravity has in the development of our bodies. Furthermore, the geology of other planets can help us understand our own planet’s formation better. We will be able to collect more data on Earth itself, studying from another perspective. Space colonization is not only a solution for our inevitable end, but also a salient opportunity for the scientific …show more content…
Space colonization would be our century’s version of the moon landing but a thousand times more spectacular. Imagine living on a planet light years away. To just get there, we would need an engine able to harness an unimaginable amount of energy, radiation shields, a spacecraft able to create a biosphere to sustain crop growth, and a way to recycle water. The invention of these items would alone be quite a phenomenon. To combine all these inventions would be a plethora of innovation. Colonization would be the achievement of
