Stephen King wrote, “Your job is to decide what something or somethings yours is about.” King talks about writing an interest instead of a theme is better because it makes the author write more comprehensible. Similarly, John Grisham uses an interest and a theme in his novel, The Confession. Grisham’s theme in his novel is about an innocent victim who got the death penalty while on death row, which has to do with the corrupt justice system. John Grisham wrote, “Death row is a nightmare to serial killers and ax murderers.
