According to the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention, childhood obesity in the United States has more than double in children and quadrupled in adolescents in the past 30 years. Statistics that are no different in the Dallas community. In fact, 1 in every 4 children under the age of 12 in our community suffered from obesity and many other health conditions that are related to obesity, such as diabetes, high cholesterol levels, anxiety, kidney disease, and risk of heart disease. Therefore, at Tenet Healthcare, we are committed to developing new innovative and interactive ways to address obesity in our Dallas community.
