2014 Summer Reading: Editorial on BZRK
Like the biots in the story BZRK will get inside the your head, and leave you constantly wanting more. BRZK by Michael Grant is an action packed science fiction novel that unfolds around themes like conspiracy, insanity, freedom, discovery, and free will. This novel is filled with graphic details and lots of action. This book is definitely aimed towards high school boys that like science fiction novels, because it is a long tedious read. Set in the near future in New York a new kind of war breaks out. On one side there is Charles and Benjamin Armstrong, owners of the Armstrong Fancy Gifts Corporation (AFGC). The AFGC organization has invented mechanical nano-scale robots. These robots latch onto the brains of unsuspecting citizens, giving control to the AFGC. On the other side there is BZRK a group of teen hackers who have developed DNA derived biots, which are sent out to destroy the insidious bots. …show more content…
