Another significant symptom is blurred vision. Blurred vision happens when sugar is built into the lens. Due to the sugar the lens start to change shape and people experience blurry vision. One of the biggest treatments is the new pancreas transplant. Having a new healthy pancreas helps the daily side effects with diabetes and the sugar glucose is kept at a normal without having to take any insulin. Though this treatment can change lives for the better it can also have some bad qualities to it. One thing that can be harmful to the body with a new transplant is that the body doesn’t recognize the new organ so the immune system starts to attack it. There is also a drug all patients have to take in order to stay away from horrible diseases like cancer and bacterial
