Teen aging is the beginning of adulthood. People learn many life lessons during these years. Adolescence is a stage where you begin to realize how life and society works. There will always be ups and downs, but when you start to handle a difficult situation, that is when the maturity of one is defined. In the following paragraphs I will explain what I have learned in my few years of youth and how they help me today.
One begins to understand how cruel life can be, but there is a limit where you get tired of everything that happens and we decide to face our own problems. When we stop depending on someone to solve our problems we start being independent. Its okay to receive guidance or advice from friends or family, but don’t expect them to be there every time you’re in a difficult situation. As an underage teen you have basic tasks for example; attending school, house chores, practices, etc. when you start working or you own a car, responsibilities begin to rain over you. Some examples are the insurance, gas, maintenance, driving safely, paying bills, and many other obligations. One very important characteristic that responsible people have is organization. People who are coordinated tend to be more responsible because they like to have everything regulated. Organization and responsibility also helps a lot for whenever you’re going to apply for a job.
There are many other things that different people learn during their teenage years which are mostly your high school years. In my opinion these are the most important lessons I’ve learned during these years because each one falls under different topics, but they can all relate. Independence, trustworthiness, and responsibility are very helpful depending on how you decide to use them throughout one’s
