As I completed each test of placing the water bottle into the hot water, I noticed that the water would rise in the straw. When I did the opposite and placed the water into the color water it would not rise as much as when placed into the hot water. By seeing this in each test I was able to see how the heat that was applied to the water allowed for the molecules to move rapidly and need more space, much like when water prior to boiling on atop of a stove. Heat is applied and the water molecules start to move around causing the water to ripple as well as evaporate. With that being said, I was able to prove, that my hypothesis was true by showing that the effect of heat (energy) added the water molecules speed up casing temperature
